just incase any Uk'ers missed the advert. at 10.20 tonight on BBC 1 there is the first of a 3 part series on the guitar. Its Alan Yentob doing his Imagine thing. There are a list of erm celebs who are on it (some shall we say more deserving than others?! )
anyhow it could be good!

Cheers David, I missed the advert.

Yet to watch it myself, just caught your post, but it's on iPlayer for folk who missed it:

BBC iPlayer - Imagine: The Story of the Guitar: In the Beginning

Might try and watch it later tonight.

Don't know if iPlayer works for non-UK residents; I hope it does 'cause this global/regional barring gets on my nerves.

Thanks for that. Just watched it on the iplayer - What a brilliant programme!

Loved Wayne Henderson - 'How do you make a guitar? - Well, you take a good piece of wood and you just cut off anything that doesn't look like a guitar'. Brilliant! :D

See if you can convert it into Murkin DVD format, Spud! We won't be able to see it... *sniff* :(

"Murkin" = "American" in Murkin speak

Very, very funny. Highly recommended as are most of Tom Sharpe's books.
