Hi all,

We are putting together a benefit show for a really good person. Lacy Schroder, from Ontario, Oregon, was involved in a car wreck in which she sustained multiple injuries. A broken neck and hips, and many other broken bones, are just the beginning of the list. Lacy does not have medical insurance, and there is no doubt that the bill will be six figures. She is a close friend and family member of a couple of the local bands here in Boise, so we thought that a benefit concert was in order.

Concert info:
Location:
Julia Davis park band shell
700 South Capitol Boulevard, Boise, ID
Date:
June 29th, 2007
Time:
5:00pm to 9:00pm

If we gain enough interest, the show may go longer. Also, if anyone in the area is interested in being a vendor, PM me and I can send you contact info on that.

If you're in the area or know people who are, please spread the word or stop by and check it out.

Thanks!

Melissa

yeah...benefit shows are great. They can be tough to put together and get some interest generated. But, everyone walks away from it a better person. I hope it goes well for you. Good luck.

I played one a while back for a girl we knew. Great show and she had a great time. Made my day.

Thanks! It's been though so far, but we're getting somewhere with it.

You can also get with your local radio station for promotion via Public Service Announcement (PSA's). The station OROCK 105.9 in Orlando has helped me out many times. Since they are a CBS station, I would assume those in other markets work similarly. They may also be able to hook you up with vendors and sponsors. Hope it all works out well!!
