It's the UK's version of Vegemite. Not as good though. They copied it from us

vegemite is heaps better, as a kid i only liked promite. the english also have some awful crap called bovril, its like beef flavoured spread and is the consistency of molasses.... urgh

dr pepper tastes like almond essence.

fresh hot bread, heaps of butter and plenty of Vegemite.

And as a drink:

two heaped teaspoons of Vege in boiling water (salt and pepper to taste)

That's why Fosters is exported, because no Australian in their right mind will drink it (apart from Aussie tourists in the US faced with a choice between Fosters and Bud).
