hey forumitez,

hope y'all've recovered from the Knucklhead conference and are all inspired and everything ... It was a real boost here in rehab to see the stories and porn that was posted ...

I'm still kickin' here in rehab and still dreamin' abou gettin' some left hand action of any description to keep buildin' my hopes of SR5 PzoLovin' again sum day ... as of now the staff here are still trying to find me an "Assisted Living " apartment to move into because it would be too dangerous for me to live without some sort of therapy and care aid support in the background, but the really BIG news at this end is that after giving up my apartment and moving my stuff into storage 2 weeks
ago = I'm stuck in rehab with no place to live, I chased down a tip last week and have made a phone call to setup a job interview this coming Tuesday ... Everybody except my SWeetie thinks I'm crazy, but that we already knew and I've gotta fight my way out of thiis CVA rehab hole somehow :). It was encouraging to discover that my resume and references speak strongly eugh for me to be considered even in a motorchair :). because of this development I'm starting to regain my self-identity and self-esteem whiich really took a beating over the last 6 months since having a CVA ... I keep refusing drugs ("brain beans") and I'm counting on my own mind and my SWeetie's love to keep my attitude up ... of course landing a new job and working for a living to have a better chance ofCVA Recovery is not something the conventional medical "professionals " agree with at this point, but what the heck, it's my life on the line and all the "king's horses are too busy writing me off with antidepressants to help me in more constructive ways .... maybe by landing a new job I can aford a few acupuncture sessions which could help the left hand come back to life . ..

thanks again Y'zall for all your support and special BIG thnnks to BP and the SLOhands for keeping the homefires burning:)
"PLAYON"!!!:)

Stick to your guns, man.

I have a friend - our moms were friends when they were pregnant, that's how far we go back - who ended up in a chair after a motorcycle "event". 15 years later, he's been living on his own for a long time now. He's done better than the doctors said he'd do and he's not even all that tough, heh heh.

He's a guitar player and although he doesn't do it much now, he was performing a solo act for years - Wheelchair Dave.

I tell you this because he was a skinny little dude and no one thought he was going to ever make it back far enough to play - but play he did and play he does.

Every story is different, but as Peter Gabriel said - "Don't give up."
