OT...there's a fuzzy picture in that album of a Bongo GUITAR!?!?!?? Looks like the fatter prototype shape. Any further info?

yup there was a bongo guitar on display but unfortunately i was having contact lens issues and ran inside to deal with 'em and missed the story.

someone will surely chime in

Mucho knobs there.......

Also, I see an 'extra' strap button right where I almost always instal one when I get a bass. Our lawyers can do lunch I suppose. Actually, after you put the new strap button around the bend there, then you replace the central one with a rubber bumper foot, like for amps, cabs, etc. so you can plonk the ax down buttfirst without busting anything. A lotta basses have the jack right there so a bit of compromise is needed, but if you wanna check out the balance and feel of that arrangement, if the jack is there just use the jack to pin your strap. It won't play, but you can check the balance.

I am pretty sure the lower strap button is one of them there combo input jack/strap buttons found on acoustic guitars w/an onboard pickup system.
