My gray hair is the same texture or whatever as the rest of the hair on my head. Up until about 6 months ago, my hair was down to the middle of my back, but my job gets it so dirty, that I must wash it everyday. I finally cut it because I was tired of spending 1/2 hour untangling it, then finding more hair in my brush than most guys my age still have on their head....I am 56.

I'm a dishwater blond and my hair always grew out flat( non spiky). Then the gray hairs started showing up. Not too many, but enough to look like a single hair cow lick here and there. So I cut my hair short now and gel it on top. Keep those little rogue gray hairs under control. Aahh life in my 40's, but at least now I own a EBMM bass
