Kind of funny... we got dumped on last night (5 inches, which for the area is quite a bit). They called classes of a 4:00pm yesterday for today (long story there - but it has to do with how Ohio funds its schools)... so I got to sit around today. Graded some papers, took the girl sledding, worked on my taxes (there has got to be enough for a new bass in there somewhere), practiced a bit and have been on and off the forum all morning. I love snowdays (my kids will make me pay for it tomorrow though:eek: )

I hate snow. I commute year around on motorcycle. Snow is the only thing that keeps me out of the saddle and it pisses me off
Here in DC it was 6 degrees Monday and Tuesday mornings and I rode 35 miles to work.

It's snowed here today - it sucks! :D PLus it means it'll be icy tomorrow, and the chance of me falling flat on my arse tomorrow (again!) is multiplied by a thousand!

Bet you're enjoying it Tiff :)

I teach in pa, no snow days yet, but I am hopeful...I love them too. two hour delays suck though. Only enough to have time to shovel your walk and lose what little planning time I have. Usually forfeit my rehearsals because of them too. Chorus isn't on the PSSA. "NO Child left behind'...yeah right! Anyway...

here's to ya, it sounds like you used it well.

Been snowing here off and on for I think the last 7 or 8 days..
Some schools were closed here and there..
I used to love those days when I was a kid..
Now however no matter how bad the weather I still manage to get here to work..
There must be something wrong with me...
The places I really like to get to in the snow bound area I live in is band practice
and Booked gigs..I for sure never miss a booked gig..But that's for love not money or snow. :)
