Hey Groove,

Congrats man! Were you stationed in Fort Rucker, AL? I had a couple of friends goto Chopper school there quite a few years ago. I went up to see them graduate as well.

Take care,

Hey Scottie...
Yep, here in scenic Ft. Rucker, AL...social epicenter of the US! ok, maybe not quite...;) Anyway, still have OBC to attend here before I graduate, but all my flight training is complete. Graduation for me should be...may-ish?

congrats.. but wot is bothering me is how comes theres some fat guys rear end in the reflection off the middle window

They have civilian maintenance guys working at the school here to free up the military mechanics to work elsewhere. Think that's uncle jesse from the Dukes of Hazzard, come to think of it!

As has been said, congratulations, and thanks for doing what you do.

What's with those guys wearing that British-style (at least it looks British to me) BDU pattern?

Hey Rob, thanks! Those BDUs are called A-BDUs, for Aviation. They're the army's replacement for flight suits; we have the option of wearing either. They differ from normal BDUs in that they have zippers rather than buttons, more pockets that are useful for flight duties, and ports for things like cooling vests. They get two thumbs up from me!
