Great Brent - there's a real sense of satisfaction of working on your own gear.

I actually just changed a saddle that needed to be replaced on the gremlin AL this morning myself. I know its not as intricate, but I'm not really adept at work requiring detail and patience, but I'm taking small steps.

Yeah but don't get so cocky at working on guitars that you'll change the gremlin green scratch plate to a black one !!!!!;) :D

Michael,

Given what you've told me about your track record, I'm glad the screwdriver didn't impale you and collapse a lung.

LOL!

Yeah, CIC, we're always watching! ;)

Brent -

Nice job! Believe me, one little thing will lead to another and pretty soon you'll be assembling your own guitars!

Digging the RW Axis too - nice score.

Man I've thought about doing that. It would be fun. choosing pickups, etc. It would be a heck of a lot easier than this stormtrooper outfit I'm building.

When I first bought my Emerald Green EVH- I was taking off the tremolo(don't ask me why) to clean I think- one of the springs shot off and chipped off a piece of wood and paint the size of 1/4 a dime-ouch- dumb de dumb dumb !!!!
I was lucky the chip was mostly under the tremolo cavity cover-
