Time for sum good news at my end ...
It's been amost a full year since "Lefty", my left arm/ hand worked or played, since hitting the floor with a CVA, and yesterday, I was over at the local #1 stroke/spinal cord-rehab /research centre for my assessment with a research therapist ... using an electrical muscle stimulator, she was able to get "Lefty", stretched out and the everstiff fingers looened a wee bit , which qualified me for her research program ... in the next month, I'll be registered for her program to research the effects of electrical stimulation, compared to Old school, Intensive exercise physio therapy on arms like "Lefty" ... of course, there are no guarantees of any particular outcome, but there is hope and promise that this research/ therapy program will help my arm/hand and brain remap some more normal function than I've had in amost a year, and then it's on to more SR5 Lovin' and my first BONGO Lovin' sessions ... I'll take whatever hope and promise I can get these daze and I'm pretty excited by now,
