OT: Lucid dreams............CREEPY!

Whew! I had a bit of a scary lucid dream.

That the space shuttle exploded on the pad during launch.

And they are launching tomorrow.

Ok, that's all....

Just really weirded me out!

When I was still working in state government, I had a dream about one of the administrators with whom I worked, but not on a regular basis. In the dream, we were having a "wine & cheese" going away party for her. The next morning I went in to work & learned that she had abruptly resigned--there had been no indication that she had any intention to or reason for leaving. However, there was no wine & cheese, either.

That's one of my 2 experiences with the paranormal (at least in this incarnation)--pretty boring experience, huh? The other one was almost as boring--nothing that I've had a precognition about blowing up has ever come true--in spite of the fact that I dream a lot about things blowing up--and only once in recollection did I dream about wine & cheese.

i had a dream that i was in a white castle eating sliders. when i was done i had bad gas. i tried to lift a cheek to relieve the pressure, i couldn't. so, i exploded.

I just found, not first-hand, that where I live you are in danger of exploding by huffing propane and smoking weed at the same time...

Sorry, someone was telling me a story this morning about a local guy that blew up his garage recently and this reminded me of that.

Dude, no joke. In the apartment I'm in, I leave my window open at night in the winter.

With the fan on.

But I think that has more to do with being on the second floor of an apartment.

Actually instead of floating I think the building was jumping up and down. Like it would hit the ground, then jump up 100 feet in the air, over and over.

But I've read a few Terry Pratchet books! I even spent a few years on the Discworld MUD. Wow this is way OT.

I had a dream the other night that I was at work and my bosses desk caught on fire. He's so mellow (naturally) that he was trying to put the fire out with his arms and stopped me from running to pull the fire alarm. Instead, he motioned to me to "chill" and said "I don't want to make a big scene."
-In my dream it all seemed normal, but now as I type this I'm thinking "who quietly tries to put out a fire because they don't want to make a scene"??? Dreams are weird like that
