Been a Mac user since 1985. My first Mac was a 512...I currently have an original Mac in my attic that I keep for sentimental reasons.

I've been making my living with Macs for over 20 years. I currently use a Windoze laptop at work ONLY because my employer has forced me to. (I offered to use MY OWN computer and they refused!)

The irony?

The client who has kept me solvent since 1995 is IBM.

I'm a PC man, for the same reason I only play 4 bangers - I'm an old dog and creature of habit. I remember the buzz when the XT was released and Lotus 123 was the only business application around, when the office girls were using IBM Golfball typewriters with 4 sheets of carbon for copies.

A couple of years after that, I remember crowding around somebody's PC (10Mb HDD) at lunch time playing CGA games (Leisure Suit Larry, Artic Fox, Falcon AT, Test Drive) and using diskcopy to promulgate copies of 5.25" diskettes full of porn gifs.

I'm a PC guy for exactly the opposite reason. I got my first PC in 99, a piece of crap, but I didn't get my first "real" computer until a couple of years ago and after comparing performance and stability, I didn't see much difference other than price.

I've been using a Mac since late 1983. I use PC's as well and can program either with near equal ease. My MacBookPro has both OS X and Win2k installed. How should we count it?

Mac user at home (and whenever I have a choice), but like most of the world I have Windows at work.

Started with an Apple IIe back in the day, then a procession of Macs leading up to my current 17" Intel iMac.

C: None of the above. I can't stand the UI on Macs ("MickeyMouseKeTosh" . . . ), although now that OS-X is at least a *nix based system, it's not the crash-o-matic anymore, and Windows is just, well, blechhh . . . . for me, it's Linux . . . uptimes in years, and nothing I want to do that I have not been able to, and typically for no cost . . . .

I Use both, I'm not a Game Player at all, but being expierenced on both and use both in my office, I see My Mac Kicking PC's Butt, but due to the fact my Mac Never breaks down I use a PC so it gives me a reason to fix something once a Month.;)

I'm a PC user since it's all I know.
Actually the real reason is because my design software that I use for work doesn't yet work on a Mac.
Otherwise I'm pretty sure I'd switch!

Love my Mac - just one reason why - when my new one arrived on Thursday, it was switched on, booted up and on the Internet for the first time (wirelessly) in under 5 minutes. Would not be possible on a PC - leastways not that quick!

They just "work" better - it's more seamless to me, and much more fun to use :)

Plus BP killed Microsoft ;)

(Check out the UK Apple ads - very funny) :D
