Bring on 'Dig A Pony', and I'll do my damndest to get out there and foot the bass bill!

Only half-joking. ;)

That's such a fun tune to play live. My old band in college played that one a lot. Always a blast.

I'd love to make it to one of those CowPilot shows. Hell, I'd love to do a double bill, too, if you ever plan to tour the SE. :D

HOTDAMN! I checked my calendar and no gig on the 31st. I'll be there.

I was at the dentist Tuesday and decided to go back to the office via I35. As I was driving I looked over a lo & behold, there was the Lone Star Roadhouse on my right.

Ben should tell you the story of coming up to sing. I believe that's why there were smokes on the floor, but my memory ain't what it used to be.

I'd rather hear Ben's story about how his bra ended up on your mic stand..

What's a chord?
It's those metal things stretched along the neck. Every Bongo has at least 4, so 3 chords is easy and you even have a spare to wank around with.

BTW, here's any easy revamped classic that is a big hit around here: The lyrics for "Tommy the Pinball Wiz" fit right over the 'melody' from "Folsom Prison Blues". Use your bess Johnny Cash groove.

It was too confining. Too much "separate" and not enough "lift."

haha!.. I knew your response would make me laugh! :D

Hmm... not enough lift? Maybe we should convert it into a strap to hold Jack's bass somewhere below his chin.

Cowpilot has a manager? Is he the Maytag repairman?

Yes!

Actually, he's a she, and here's the only photo of her I can find, which is sad when you think about it.

You think Erika's happy? I just don't know anymore.

Oh, she's extremely hands-on, not only with Erika but most especially with our fearless leader (by default, he will insist), Brian.

I don't think she initially thought Cowpilot was a job. More like an annoying smell.

I can say with complete sincerity that those two ladies are two of the most wonderful people anyone could ever hope to meet.
