I'm partial to the Pedaltrain boards. The small one comes with a padded gig bag as well. The bigger two can fit a Pedal Power underneath.

I have a ten year old SKB powered pedalboard. The plastic casing is all messed up but it still works. I've gotten pretty good mileage out of it considering its age.

whats the model of the one u have in ur pics beej? that actually seems like the perfect size
It's the PT2 - the middle size. I squeeze a wah, VP Jr and 8 other pedals on there. Milled the bottom for the Pedal Power. Works like a charm for me.

Have you tried the Gator Pedal tote? The smaller one should be able to fit the stuff you describe.

I'll second this one. For around $80, you can get this board, the power supply, and the case. Fits around 6-8 pedals of varying sizes.

I recently upgraded to the larger size board. I think it's 16 x 30".

What about a D.I.Y pedalboard ?
It is easy to build one and you can choose exactly the size you need.
A good way to spend your time ...

how many pedals can you fit on the largest size board from them? and can you get one pre drilled with holes for your cables

+1 for the Pedaltrain. It's surprisingly light, but it gets heavy with your pedals on them...

I really like my SKB pedal board. It's built well, has a built in power supply and lifetime warranty. The handle did break once so I e-mailed the company to see about getting it repaired. They had a replacement handle to me in 2 days.

great thread and great pics. have been delaying the pedal-board idea for a while .... but now that I've narrowed the stompers down I'm thinkin' it's time to lock 'em in for a bit:D

pics to follow:)

Where do you keep your guitar cables?

hey guys, i have a custom built board which is housed in an ATA case (no pictures on me right now) its packed pretty tight and i have no issues with it EXCEPT that theres no room to keep my guitar cables inside when i go to the gig cept for piling them on top of the pedals (which then messes with my eq's and other knobs during transport) -

So im looking for some replies...where do you guys keep your cables when you travel with your pedalboards?

If I had to do it over again, I'd go with a Pedaltrain PT-Pro. I'm happy with my custom Anvil/Calzone pedalboard case, though.
