It's about time I revisited this thread!!
I did go with the MarkBass 102P. I then removed the huge honkin' logo plate from the front grill :)

It is heavy and a little bulky, but dang, does it every produce. You guys were right, the sound is crystal, sharp, loud (when I want it) and the LittleMark II is really, really flexible. It is nice to hear positive comments from the other musicians :)

I play at church with the SR4, and in a 50's/60's band with an Epiphone Jack Casady semi-hollowbody. No matter what sound I want I am truly satisfied with the quality and quantity. Thanks a ton, all!
Now... to find a 1x15 cab to add... :D

Compared to my only reference, a borrowed Fender 1x15. :)
I've had four major lower back surgeries, so while the 44 or so lbs that the 102P is does not make it "heavy", it can, at times, be a little unwieldy for me. I can get it into the backseat of my pickup (GMC Canyon quad cab) but it takes some maneuvering, so it normally rides in the bed.
yes, all comparisons are relative...
