I just won an item today that I was going to give my wife for Mothers Day. I paid for it via PayPal about 3:30 p.m. today.I was just looking at my PayPal account and the seller refunded my payment:confused: Just wondering if this has happened to anyone here?

Never heard of that.............did he send you a note saying why?? If you won, it's yours....If it's something that you must have, you need to take it up with him and then ebay if he doesn't give you a good answer....but me thinks that's a bunch of BS

Anyone that refunded your payment is honest. Now to understand why?

Also, the basic paypal accounts don't take credit cards at all. Double-check his listing to see if it mentions anything more specific.

That would be the most likely thing I can think of.

Haven't heard of that before, Randy.

My weirdest was selling something and shipping it out, only to have it shipped right back to me with no explanation of anything.

This is the most likely explanation. If he has the basic account, he'd have to upgrade and lose 2.9% in fees to accept cc payments. But, you should be able to send from a checking account without any problem.

But, who knows.

Good luck!

But how could they have 3 BIN auctions going for the same product if they didn't have any stock?

Easily done with an automated listing program like Turbolister.

Anyone who doesn't take your money is not a thief.

Sucks not to get what you pay for but it sucks more to pay for something you don't get.

IMHO
