OT.. Relocation

Haven't posted much lately due to external demands on my time .
Needless to say this weekend( along with the family)I'm leaving south Florida and relocating to Atlanta Georgia . Canton to be exact .
If any of you guys can point me in the direction of good music stores in the area I'd appreciate it .
Also any info on good bars with bands would not go amiss

Good luck on your move, I did the same back in 1983.

I grew up in south Miami, and moved to Atlanta in 1983 for college (Ga Tech).

I left Atlanta in '89 and moved to California.

You may have some withdrawls from living near the ocean, but hopefully you won't miss the humidity too much.

My info on shops and clubs may be a little outdated....

I know where the airport is... but that's about it. We have several members in that area, I'm sure they'll post in.

In the mean time, I hope you have a safe and good move. I know it's a big change but maybe it will be great all around, I hope so.

I'm no Atlanta expert but the stores I know about up there are 2 Guitar Centers and the Atlanta Bass Gallery. I live about an hour and a half away so a trip up there isn't too much for me. Maybe all of us southeast forumites could meet up somewhere up there one of these days.

I have a friend that owns the Miller Distibution in Cookeville Tennesee. I wish he lived a little closer.
