Im a gear whore. We know that. Were all okay with that.

Sometimes its so much fun to sell or trade a bass in the excitement of whats next. What sucks is when finances force the sale of a peice of gear that you really have come to enjoy.

In the short time Ive owned my Glacier Blue Sparkle StingRay, its really earned its way as one of the greatest players Ive owned. Really, only second to my beloved SR5. That Glacier Blue Sparkle Ray strung with EB flats has the smoothest sound of any Ray Ive ever played.

Its been a joy to spend time with it, but you have to take care of what needs to be taken care of.

This time around parting is a tough thing. Im REALLY gonna miss this one.

Someone tell me itll be okay.

And yes, GO DAWGS!!!!!

Beat two top 25 teams in two weeks. Two of our bigger rivals too. Auburn and Georgia Tech, thank you for giving me a chance to remain proud of my dirty old UGA hat.

Besides the rare color Travis it's just like any other Single H SR4 out there. I think you know this deep down and if you didn't you wouldn't have it on the selling block right now.Cheer up, you can always get another SR4 later on down the road.....I traded my Sterling to get a Bongo(and now SR4HH) and bought a SUB Sterling to ease the pain. You know what?I think I like just as much as my old Sterling.....Really:)

I've found, as time goes on, that there is always another great bass around the corner. When the circumstances are right, you'll find something even better. :)

Unless you incur alot of negative karma.

I feel your pain. Today I had to give up the deposit on my Dargie Delight 2-Band Stingray (although I know it's going to a good home). Sometimes life doesn't fall the way you want it to, but I know that my Bongo is coming back home tomorrow, and things will get back to normal soon enough.

How 'bout them Auburn Tigers baby!!!! We may have lost to UGA but i'd rather lose to them than Vanderbilt. ;)

A another will come along...especially for us gear whores. I like the opportunity to play different basses. I'd like to think I'd never part with some of my basses....95' Sterling HB & CAR V4 by....but I've learned to never say never!

They come, they go.....

I, too, enjoy seeing "what's next around the corner", but it does suck to have to off something for the sake of bills.

BTW, at what point does "gear whoring" become "destructive obsession"? I think I'm getting close to that ragged edge.... :D

When it interferes with your "normal" life or you have SERIOUS consequences like not being able to decide what to play;)
