...it would behoove you to double check your credit card statements.

I was charged on Thursday for my stay at the hotel; they then put a hold on my CC for $248 while there, leaving a brother to survive that weekend on about $90. (Thanks for picking up the tab on everything else, BP!) ;)

I was shocked to see another charge go through overnight/today for the same amount I was already charged for one day previous to my arrival. I've called and brought this to their attention, and am in process to get this resolved.

They were nice and all, and I have no qualms about them, etc. but for safety's sake, I can only assume that I'm not the only one that was affected. They did tell me that they switched over to a new system on the 1st, so I'm wondering if some things carried over from before that ultimately duplicated.

Be on the lookout for this, my friends...should you need to contact them, their number is 1-972-929-4499.

Just a friendly heads up...

dwf,

My friend Bill and I had paid in full at the time we made our reservations (on October 2nd). When we arrived they had no record of us, no reservation despite our confirmation numbers, and they blamed it on a system problem with whoever collects their online bookings. So I had to produce another credit card and they charged it, and said that the original charge from my online booking would not ever hit my credit card. So far, it hasn't. But now that you've had a different problem, I'll have to keep checking my all my credit cards regularly.

Haha! The only movie I managed to watch (partially) was some Jamie Foxx movie about an unmanned fighter jet. Bad writing, but there was a pretty gal with a great body featured in the film.. the only thing worth watching in the movie!

Yeah Steve, NorM and I booked shortly after that (Oct. 7th, more specific). The charge never got posted/charged until the day before I left for DFW, posted to my account on 11/2. Then, my charge today that went through...I also got the "switched to a new system".

So, yes, definitely keep your eyes open, all...

Darrell, thanx for the head up man. I booked on Oct 3, so I'll have to check and see if they double hit me too.

By the way, I had a blast man. :D

Thanks for the heads up. I used a different card when I actually settled the bill, and it appears to have gone through fine, and only once.

I'll check the original card I used for the reservation when I get home.

...yeah, he's a touch hard to understand, but they are on tap to reverse it for me without issue, so thumbs up on that. Shouldn't be a prob for you either, Midopa.

Glenn, me too, brother...thanks for renting the wheels to cart our a$$es around, bro. (Also to Tommy & Janice as well!) All you guys made getting lost fun. :D

Yeah...I more or less had the same situation.

So far, only 1 charge to the card. Will keep checking for a while just in case. Gotta love technology.
Lost?! It was fun taking the scenic tour!

Happy to say that my issue is resolved, and the charge was credited back to my account yesterday morning. If any one else is in the same boat, I wish the best for you on that...don't foresee an issue though. Dude didn't even give it a second thought when we talked.

Janice, call it what you will...to-MAY-to, to-MAH-to...heh...it was still fun. Thanks. :)
