I remember the craziness when I bought my condo in 2000. Seems a credit bureau decided I didn't have enough going on in my life and put some erroneous data in my file which took 3 loooong months to clear up. Of course during those 3 months I was convincing the sellers that my issues would be taken care of 'any day now'. What a nightmare.

That looks like a very nice place. From the U.S., and someone in the construction industry to boot, it looks very European. I mean that in on the best of ways. Modern, efficient and fairly energy and water efficient. I love the kitchen cabinets! Way cool. The bathroom is so modern and it also looks like you have an on-demand water heater, which is most excellent. We have a front-loading washer and love it. I think your place is wonderful -- most sincere congratulations and good wishes for many years of happiness there.

Lisa - it is indeed an on-demand water heater - I've missed that since I moved out of my parent's and have had to get in to the habit of heating tanks of water!
Our flats are designed by a Canadian bloke called Avi Friedman, and they are supposed to be really energy efficient - there's an air filtration system in the ceiling which is designed to cut down on heating costs, but we'll see.
We've been doing a load more dismantling and packing this morning - it's only 1:20 and I'm shattered already!
