Big Poppa. I am already a big poppa but not The Big Poppa. Can't imagine much I would enjoy more than that.
.

Ha Ha...I was just wondering why none of the guys had said Big Poppa yet. With him being known as The Chick Magnet with the Worlds Coolest Office..LOL

In all seriousness, this thread comes at an interesting time for me. I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I'll be 32 next month & I'm still clueless. My degree is in management, but after college I was a full-time musician for several years after a failed attempt at selling insurance & other financial products. Then I kinda fell into a graphic design job at LSU for nearly 5 years. I quit that one last month. Now I'm Mr. Mom for a while, and the fact that I'm having a job crisis while my wife works full time is freaking all of us out. She wants to return to her part-time deal so she can spend more time with the kids, and I'm about ready to get away from the kids.

I enjoy graphic design, but I'm not sure if I want to stick with it. I consider myself competent at it, but yet I have no formal education in that field. Other than that, the only thing I'm half-assed good at is music, but I'm not going to try to make a living again playing local clubs on the weekends!

I just dunno what to do......:(

With an eye to getting out of management and accounting I told my mom I was thinking of going back to school to get an advanced degree, maybe in pure science. She said, "Won't you ever be satisfied?" The answer is NO.

Right now I'd like to get further into my rut, get out of it, pay off the house, and try out whatever work is interesting and fun without having to worry about how much money I make. I'd especially like to have very minimal expenses so I could have the leisure to try different things.

On the other hand, I sure do like the company I work for. I'm happy with what I'm doing, but not sure that'll be the case in five or esp. 10 years. Could well be, though. We're growing and I work with great folks. I'd just like to have a contingency plan.

I reckon I can say I got to be what I wanted to be when I grew up.
