I am currently a Reactor Operator at the largest nuclear facility in the US. I really like my job, but there's a lot of BS that goes along with working in nuclear power - and that can get old really fast. The money is good though.

I'm kinda torn on what my dream job is. Half of me wants to be a musician, and half of me wants to pursue my other love - football. I don't have the skills to play football for a living, but I'd love to work in the front office for my beloved Seattle Seahawks. Maybe then I could still do music on the side - heck, as long as I'm dreaming, maybe I can play bass for Paul Allen's (owner/billionaire) band. :)

Not quite as exotic as that...am the editor of a little publication called Whisky Magazine. Covering everything from bourbons to blends and malts to cocktails and all the shades inbetween.
We have about 100,000 subscribers worldwide and publish in French and Japanese as well as the English language edition.

Check it out if you like at www.whiskymag.com (sorry for the plug mods:eek: )

Its hard work but as I keep telling my wife someone has to do it...oh well back to my tasting session:rolleyes:

In fairness, all silliness aside, I'm quite lucky to be doing a job I enjoy at age 22. I don't know if I'll be in either the online marketing or travel industries forever (I work for an agency who do mainly travel digital stuff), but it'll keep me happy until, like Lisa says, I can be in the position to not have to worry so much if I want to try other things out.

All I ever wanted to be as a kid, was happy. And maybe a mum. I've certainly achieved the first objective, and we'll see about the second in a few years!

BP - I'm loving the gift you got sent - seriously cool. The fact that part of it came from HARRODS is brilliant. And also uber expensive :D

Believe me when me and the design team and I are pulling the late one and copy is either not written and been submitted with a few hours until the mag has to go to the printers you can have me soul, powerbook and desk.

But then heading out to Kentucky, Tennessee, Speyside, the Highlands and Islands makes everything groovy.

All up, have been a journo now for about 10 years and I would not swap it for anything.

Tiff - thought so...did not want to mention bounce flash....;)
