Mine came from a Gibson color that was used in the early 80's -- I have had 4 Les Pauls in this color, and sold them all when prices went stupid on them. I am almost completely Gibson-free now. But I am stuck with the name.

Mine is just a wierd way of shortening my name that my friends started using many years ago....eddie fellabaum = eddybomb...kinda dumb, but it's the only name most of the local music freaks know me by, so I'll keep it.

The name came from my '01 StingRay. That bass has a 'personality', and I thought at times it was possessed- remember the movie "Christine"? Same sort of thing. StingRays look soooooooo evil, anyway, so the 666 was easy.

Here's the scary part- my current #1, a StingRay 4 HH in tort/ black, named Elvira, no less, has a date stamp 6-6-06.........(cue spooky music, and Vincent Price laughing....)

I've been using that handle since 2001..(cue more spooky music, thunder, etc)..... :eek:

I'm just me on this forum -- Beth. Let's not delve into my last name antics...

On other forums and IMs, my name is Taoofpoo, which is potty humor for Tao of Pooh, a great book about the essence of Pooh.

i read that book years ago:D still have it somewhere, you got to love that bear!!

DTG= David Thomas Griffith, in Ireland every boys middle name is Mary:eek:
so i changed it to Thomas just as soon as i could (i could have picked a really cool name but i went for THOMAS,)
