You'll never repair it unless you completely replace the panel.

After I took that, I decided to take matters into my own hands, grind it back to bare metal, fill and paint.

...it didn't take too long to realise there wasn't exactly a whole lot metal behind it to denude. The rust was coming in from the door hinge at the back of the panel.

New panel it is!

Hey Andrew, sorry that I missed your post. Fortunately for us, we have an excellent weather here (comparatively, at least). In fact, one of the things I like the most from my town is that here you can find some of the best weather conditions among major cities, being second after the infamous Medellín. BTW, you can see some pictures of my town here. The only thing I don't like is that from some time ago the weather has become very unpredictable. When you think it will be a really sunny day (in the morning), clouds suddenly appear at noon and a big rain is unleashed. Not a weird situation, but I find it annoyingly common nowadays. Here are the current conditions:

This is the first winter we haven't used the fireplace. I usually order 10 cubic metres of fire wood.

It's cool outside but a comfortable 20 degrees inside with a small heater. Yet our house isn't small.

Horrid heat last December. Xmas day was 45 degrees inside

45 degrees Celsius = 113 degrees Fahrenheit

We just finished the hottest July in recorded history in the Claifornia desert. We broke 5 alltime heat records. That blast of heat you easterners got was courtesy of us. I am usually the most positive guy here in the summer but this tested me. The funny part is that AUgust is usually the worst and so far it has actually been really nice!

I arrived in New York yesterday with Dargie and Brian and it was really nice here. Off to Washington DC for some store visits.
