OT:Wish me Luck!

Well on the drive home from work today I was listening to the local AM Sports station and they were giving away(for answering trivia questions) a free foursome to play in a fund raiser tournament at Desert Willow....The All Coaches Open! Wish me luck fella's.....looking to come home with a couple T-prizes tmrw!!


The trivia game was baseball stadiums....they would name the stadium and you had to tell them who played there!! Aced it Baby!!

i had a feeling that might be dangerous.......just got back from a quick tune up at the range, the irons are on! So i stopped hitting half way through my bucket and figured I should save some for tmrw....I gave the rest of my bucket to the 12 year old hitting next to me, although I'm not sure he needed it...that kid was nails!

kevin dont you have to know how to golf?

actually I am an amazing scramble teammate....The way my game works I generally have 3 great shots a hole, where I get into trouble is the other 2 shots Master of the fairway woods. Generally come off the T with my 3 wood 250....nails from a 70-150 yard approach,the game gets rough when I'm 30-50 yards to the green.....and my putting stroke fluctuates more than Pamela Anderson's breast size.

With that said I haven't been out on the course in a while, felt great on the range...we'll see if it translates to the course, probably not!! Past three scrambles played I have taken home a longest drive(305...in 2003) and closest to the pin on a 200 yard par 3(2006), played right into my 7 wood draw got lucky on that one and stuck it 8 feet away. However both those tournaments were played with many hacks so its not saying much at all. So we will see if the magic continues. to be continued..........

thanks I appreciate it.....it will be fun to get out there!! It should be a great day....morning temp is supposed to be 76....when get to the course at 9:00 it should be about 85!!

what a perfect day for golf ....the weather was amazing, and Desert Willow was in great shape....I thought it was a real fun course. We ended up shooting 7 under, the winning score was 19 under!! Not sure how many strokes they shaved!! But it was a great time....now its time to nurse this sunburn!!
