Well it is here and what a finish:) The neck on this thing is lightning fast (more than my HS). Can't wait to get it home tonight. Pics when I get time (I am going to be occupied for some time me thinks).

Obviously I am no photgrapher and the skies were cloudy but you get the idea;)

I had a SR5 in that finish a few years back, and I think those paint guys really ARE getting better and better.

Mine was pretty, but that thing is just fabulous.

Nice!

Thanks guys. On the down side this thing weighs around 10# which seems rather heavy for a single pickup Sterling. But the weight to tone theory is a fact on this one I believe. This may sound somewhat blasphemous but this thing sounds eerily similar to my SR 30th. I never would have believed a Sterling could get in that neighborhood but I am dead serious. 10# is right at my "bearable weight limit" but if it had anything to do with the tone I will gladly take it. The tone and resonance are better than I ever dreamed they could be. :)

10lbs... yeah I guess that's a little heavy but I came from the keyboard world so that's nothing! Ever have to tote a B3? I'm loving my new clonewheel B, clocks in at 33lb, life has gotten way better for me!

Use lighter strings. :D

Lovely! I dunno if it's the influence of the Bongo (and the SR Dargie!), but lately I've been prefering the look of matching headstocks. Nice!

Speaking of "Out for Delivery" I just tracked my new Stingray and it says "Out for delivery" too, but since they only deliver on business days, it has to sit in the truck for 2 days over the weekend!

I'm sure that's not going to be good in the heat. But they may keep the trucks inside....hopefully.

Oh well, at least I'll be getting it Monday!
