Well it is here and what a finish The neck on this thing is lightning fast (more than my HS). Can't wait to get it home tonight. Pics when I get time (I am going to be occupied for some time me thinks).
Thanks guys. On the down side this thing weighs around 10# which seems rather heavy for a single pickup Sterling. But the weight to tone theory is a fact on this one I believe. This may sound somewhat blasphemous but this thing sounds eerily similar to my SR 30th. I never would have believed a Sterling could get in that neighborhood but I am dead serious. 10# is right at my "bearable weight limit" but if it had anything to do with the tone I will gladly take it. The tone and resonance are better than I ever dreamed they could be.
10lbs... yeah I guess that's a little heavy but I came from the keyboard world so that's nothing! Ever have to tote a B3? I'm loving my new clonewheel B, clocks in at 33lb, life has gotten way better for me!
Speaking of "Out for Delivery" I just tracked my new Stingray and it says "Out for delivery" too, but since they only deliver on business days, it has to sit in the truck for 2 days over the weekend!
I'm sure that's not going to be good in the heat. But they may keep the trucks inside....hopefully.
