Gotta love it when you see that status on the UPS page.

I jumped on the Trans Gold Axis that was on the For Sale page last week. From the pictures, it looks like it has an insane amount of flame on the neck.

Only problem is what will get here first, the guitar or the blizzard?!?!?!? They're calling for it to start coming down pretty good by lunch. I hope my UPS guy is running his ass off to finish up before it gets really bad. Early estimates are calling for 18-24"... Should be a fun weekend.

We went to the store last night for the essentials, milk, bread, ribs... I'm firing up the smoker and doing ribs tomorrow, snow be damned.

I know what You are talking about!!! I've had a snow near Frankfurt delay a guitar delivery by a day just a week ago.

And the NGD feeling is crazy alright. I have something big and green on its way to me myself

Hopefully your Axis gets there before the blizzard! She did look pretty sweet in the for sale thread. So much for a bad economy... I'm counting 9 balls in just over a week (2 for Fing) and 4 of them are the new AL. Congrats to eryone who gets to enjoy a new Ball this weekend! And if your playing an old Ball life ain't that bad either...

Fred, nice man!! I saw that about the blizzard, nice to be able to hunker down and be stuck inside, of course when your not shoveling/snowblowing.

Smoking in the snow, I've BBQ'ed in the snow before.

Right on Fred...I got 4 racks o Babybacks....ready for Smoking in about -15 degree weather up here in Nova Scotia...But SuperBowl Sunday Needs Smoked Ribs!!!....Ill trim em and rubem tomorrow and then to the smoker sunday morn!!!!!

Just found out they're closing the campus down at 1:30... no sign of the big brown truck yet...

Sounds like the weekend for ribs... Lenny, I'm doing 4 racks of spares, I like doing spares because you get all that extra meat from trimming them up. I keep that on the side and grab a chunk or two while I'm checking on the racks.

Hey Don, I'm trying a new technique on the ribs. I let you know what the response is after the gang has at them.

I doing a buffalo chicken dip for the big game on Sunday. I'll throw the chicken on with the ribs, add a little smoke flavor to the hot sauce.

Plenty of 'Q, plenty of beer, sounds like a great weekend to be stuck inside.

RIBS sound good...

one thing i've managed to do over the years is befriend the UPS guys so on NGD i know i'll get it early. I've even been able to have them pull the shipment on bad days or meet up with the driver before they head back in. It's just another way BROWN works for me...

My wife has turned into a vegan in the last few months, so I have been eating a lot of tofu lately. It's not so bad.
