I got a question regarding the output of current Musicman Stingray H Alnico pickups.
in the 1980s pickup total output resistance of approx 1,950 ohms
My current 2016 3eq H Stingray measures a total output resistance of approx 1,806 ohms.
The front row of mangets on the humbucker are much stronger than the rear row towards the bridge, is this normal?
What other types of readings are you guys getting? I notice my pickups arent as 'powerful' as my previous stingrays. With all the same strings, height, low action etc, Im guessing this is entirely the pickup output effecting the tone.
Would a 0,200 Ohm pickup output difference, would it make an audible difference?
