I am very, very late with this, as I got this guitar in July.
Finally posting a NGD thread for it.
It's my 3rd JP70, needless to say I really like this guitar a lot.
I am planning on having the HBs split, and maybe also putting DiMarzios in it, but the stock PUs actually sound quite ok to me.
The guitar had a very low action, I raised it a bit, as I like a (low-)medium action as opposed to super low, for me it's much easier to bend strings when the action is not too low.
The neck feels amazing. I'm mostly an Ibanez guy, but this neck feels so comfortable, that whenever I grab one of my Ibbys, I love coming back to the JP70.
