OH MY GOSH...
REAL IVORY and REAL TORTISE SHELL and the smell is OH SO VINTAGE... they were really dirty and dusty... so ever so softly i began to clean them with a microfiber cloth and just a dash of Dr. Ducks... and these things are amazing. They are pristine... For 80 years old these things are amazing... DEEP rich tone... DELTA BLUES TONE FOR DAYS... deep V neck and much to my surprise I found an EBMM 10 guage string... it's probably from the 60's or so... and also tucked away inside the case of the L-4 was a pair of 1919 steel and cork capos... Those are being pulled from the case...

The F-4 was amazing... I played it for about 20 minutes while my buddy was nervously standing by... it was so rich and so pure sounding... and it was in tune.

The L-1 was a kick to play as well... no secret staches anywhere but just as nice as the other two... WOW!

I asked my dad for a loan of 10k but he wasn't interested in the investment...

so there's the Report BOYS (and Girls) this was probably one of the coolest nights ever... you could just feel the Mojo from Kalamazo...
