Hello! I have ordered a Pacific Blueburst Axis and would love to see what it is likely to look like. I have gone through all the pics-of-my-guitar posts and find varying ranges of color. They seem to go from a dark teal burst to a real deep blue burst. Has the color produced from the factory been changed over the years? Or is it just a real hard color to photograph? Can anyone please direct me to an example of what I can expect?

Per my shop the guitar should be on it's way. I am so anxious for this one!

Thank you very much for any help.

BTW, Congrats! It's a great colour.

Here's some YouTube clips of one too!

It is quite a dark finish and can almost look black at times, the second video (spagbol) looks pretty realistic under regular indoor natural light, but once you get direct light on it the finish comes alive!

IMO, Pac. Blue Burst is the coolest EBMM color. You won't be disappointed. I've seen quite a bit of variance in shading, ranging from a deep blue in the middle to a very light blue.

My photo skills are lousy, and mine is actually a little darker than it looks here, but here's mine.

Hopefully it's enough just to know that you won't be disappointed by it. I've never seen a PBB that didn't look great.

Hey, that's my guitar!

HA! Too funny that foggy would post a pic of my guitar before I got around to it....

Pacific Blue Burst really is hard to photograph. It's so cool. The camera just can't seem to capture the "true" color...

I guess that's maybe why I haven't posted any pics yet - I've taken probably dozens in different light, but just can't capture the "true" look of it. I've been waiting for the spring thaw so I can get some outdoor pics in natural light, hoping that would more accurately show the true color.

That and I'm lazy, apparently...

Anyway, I have a bunch of pics on my camera. I'll try to get some posted later on...

These are some nicer shots of mine, but it's much darker under natural light.

Like others have said, it can be quite dark, even black looking.

Wow! If mine looks anything like these examples, I am going to flip!! Per the shop the guitar should be in tomorrow. I will post some pics of one of the latest PBB example from the factory. Thanks again!
