Well, let's hope she gets here safely tomorrow! I'm going to go take one last rip on the Daion, as I suspect it might not get as much playing time once the Bongo gets here.:D

I have a heckuva headache. But my fingers still work.

Well, I hope Dargin meant that it would be here today...not in Chicago...*twitch*

School today is interesting. They're sending people out of school to get haircuts-apparently, hair that covers the ears and extends below the collar of a dress shirt is an impediment to the education of male students:mad: Fortunately, I haven't been caught yet. I think that the rule is stupid, and may fight it...oh well.

Agreed! I could care less if my own hair is long or short, let alone someone else's...

...BTW, show them a picture of Albert Einstein.

When I was in high school, they had to change the rules regarding long hair. Because clearly mine WAS long, but it didn't do what other long hair did, so they couldn't measure it the same way. What a bunch of idiots they were.

I remember standing in the principal's office and him inserting a ruler into my afro.

Meanwhile, the black guys were laughing - he wasn't about to measure THEIR afros.

Evenutally, my mom, who was almost always on the school's side, told him he was an idiot and to leave me alone.

Funny memories!

Yeah, it seems like all of the battles that we fought and won are slowly being lost back to the way it was before. Dress codes were dropped while I was in school, the drinking age was dropped when I was 18 and it was decided that the length of your hair didn't deter your ability to learn.

I don't know why this is all reverting back to the way it was. It kind of makes me throw up in my mouth a little to think of how hard our generation fought for these rights and that they are being taken away without so much as a whimper.

*smacks self in head* Sorry.

Radiance Red Bongo 4 HH, ordered through Make'n Music in Chicago.
If rad red sounds as good as lava, you're in for a beach'n good time. Mine was plug n play, store to gig in one hour.

Now smack self in head again. That was funny. Wanna see it over n over.
