Guitarburetor:

I understand the middle position on the Petrucci connects one coil each from the neck and bridge pickup in parallel. Gives a nice stratty sound.

I would like to see what it sounds like to wire those two coils in series to get a volume boost while still keeping some of the single coil flavor.

But that Petrucci switch is a high tech mystery to me. Is there a wiring diagram somewhere? what would I change to put those coils in series?

Dog,
I think there should be a beacon with a guitar (ala Batman) to shine up onto the clouds at night when you want to summon me. I can help you with your quest, but first you must bring me the broomstick of the wicked witch of the west.

This can be done, but will require the circuit board to be removed from the switch, and completely new switch wiring. I need a little time to draw this up, be patient- and here's a little hint: use water...

Luiz,

The water is for the wicked witch of the west.

I don't have the beacon working yet, but do have another question. What does that circuit board on the Petrucci switch do? Is it a way to make the wiring super neat without adding another switch into the circuit?
