I have nothing to do with production so I can't help you. Also, it is a major pain in the butt to look for an instrument in the build process, so give Scott a break and don't bug him. It will not make the wait any easier.

I recall my very first SR4. I was SO tempted to keep calling the store to see when it was coming in!

For my next one, I'll be fighting the urge to post here.

I just don't have that kind of patience. I could never wait for a bass to be made. I have thought of ordering one but I can not make myself do it. SO I just buy half of the new ones that come into my shop....
