I ordered one exactly like this, she's due in March.

Looking at the pic in this auction, something just hit me over the head. I always thought the AL had a weird body shape. It doesn't...the pickguard is the source of that "weirdness". If the p/g didn't slope up to and to the left on the left side of the guitar, the overall shape would be fairly tame.

Whatever, it's grown on me, I went from dislike to ordering one

My EVH was shipped to Perth via USPS Global Express for US$156 Insured.
Took 5 days, somehow went straight through Customs and arrived on my doorstep.

Axis was US$163

I had quotes for other guitars of US$400+. !

These guys who stuff around with international postage like it is a hassle and charge extortionate fees are halfwits.

Hope you source one with realistic shipping costs and ease that AL GAS !

well i tried , but the seller didnt get back to me with shipping costs, and he said his reserve was much higher than the final price, i think it ended at a reasonable price actually.

maybe he'll re'list it, with a slightly lower reserve. i guess he hasnt been seeing how much AL's have been going for lately.
