It just so happens that I am doing psy nursing these days. I think that is just the sort of nurse needed here. Too bad they don't use straight jackets anymore. We do use a restraint bed..... but don't anyone get their hopes up, those are for violent people not mere goof Balls like the MM dudes...... pun intended. :)

Tiffs are you discrimiating or pre judging that nurese due to her looks? She was top of her class at Harvard.......I cant believe that you would judge a womans capabilities by her looks, that's what guys are for.

A Psy nurse? could we ask for more?
Seriously Lisa I have a soft spot for nurses going through all of the operations with Casey. I can't tell you how much kindness and compassion they showed the little guy and our entire family. When I donated the kidney the second night I was in real pain and wouldnt take the drugs and a nurse came in and I said "Isn't it your night off?" She said" I really like your family and figured out they could use a little help tonight'

Before the transplant Casey had to have both of his kidneys removed and was on Hemo first and then peratoneal for 6 months. In the old days california paid to have one night of nursing to make sure that the family understood how to hook the patient up to the machine and all that stuff. They wacked the budget and caseys nurse took two vacation days and drove four hours each way and made sure that we were ok.

So there. That is why i love nurses.

That is an awesome story and some very special nurses. Those nurses made a very scary and painful time a bit less scary and painful. Women like that are what made me want to be a nurse. I was on a rescue squad as a teenager and I ran calls with some amazing ER nurses. The way they would look at a patient and comfort them had a big impact on me.

I watched a lot of different nurses when both of my folks have been in and out of the hospital for as long as 4 months at a time over the past 4 years and I have to say....they don't get paid enough!!

God bless that nurse. Casey is a gem and its wonderful to see that they treated him and BP with such care.

No, that nurse looks more like a graduate of Texas A&M to me.

Or perhaps the Tommy Lee School of Holistic Medicine.

Somehow, no matter where she was educated, I suspect she knows Luke.

Now let's get this thread back on track! As if I remember how it started.

Hey Tiff!

I'm going to Dallas in November, you will definitely be there, right? What were you girls thinking of playing?

It would really be nice to have Tiffany there at the Big Bash and I really look forward to meeting her there. To come all that way, very cool.

Never thought that this guy I met in San Antonio these long years ago would be the subject of all this. Very cool, and very proud of him.
