Hey, I just realized that i've never used my music man with the switch to "paralel". You guys ? If yes, when? Why?

I've never tried the rewiring but I believe it makes the bass deeper. I also know some who've tried it and revert back to the original configuration.

Actually, I think the pickups are normally in parallel. The modification is to series.

I am talking about the pickup swich of the MM sr5, with 3 positions: series, single coil, parallel . Not about rewiring.

I use this setting about 90% of the time! That's where the "funk" is at for these Basses! But also that could be because i'm so used to that tone, from my 77' Stingray. But "All" the selector setting's give you a different "Flava "also. Good- luck!
