Off Topic Parallel Series wiring

Hi all,

I was investigating how to do parallel / series wiring with a push-pull pot and came upon two different diagrams for dimarzio pickups. Do these have the same end results? If not, which is correct?

Hi,
The 2 diagrams should be the same, the only difference is the way they are drawn.
The first image simply connects the white and black wires in that position with a bridge,
In the second one, the black wire is connected directly thru the switch and has a bridge to connect to the pin, where it's soldered to in the first Image.
I hope this is cohesive?? Anyway, the function is the same, just a different way to draw it.

Just wanted to make sure I didn't have to rewire when I got home today. I was thinking they were similar. I really need to learn how DPDT switches work as well as the 5 position ones. It would make things a lot easier when wiring up.
