straight passive as in not the Big Al and Reflex in passive mode? no.
but on a different note - as far as I remember the pre-EB Stingray guitars (you know, those things with six skinny strings) were active(!!).

You're wrong - see my post above yours. Go to this page, and scroll down until you come to the SUB data .... SERIALS BONGO & SUB - Musicmanbass.org, Music Man, Musicman, Music Man Bass, Musicman Bass, Music Man Guitar

with all due respect to the SUBs, as fine as they were I don't consider them EBMM - the parts were outsourced from China and were assembled and setup in the US.
as far as I remember the headstock didn't have the same EBMM logo as the US made balls but rather a bold logo saying Musicman with the upper torsos of the the two guitarists from the original Musicman logo.

ok, I stand corrected.

still, they werent marketed as a passive EBMM (I also remember some had the 2 band preamp) but rather as a more affordable EBMM (somewhat like 7ender's Hwy1s, in essence of course, not in quality).

iirc SUBs were 'standard' with the passive set up with an optional upgrade to the 2-band EQ

other than that - the reflex or Big Al is the only passive route
