I can't say who it is, off the top of my head, but he must really like his bass. I think I would have gotten a replacement.

Looks like Phoenix from Linkin Park. Perhaps it's a windmill gone wrong? :(

DO these guys really think that this is original? Cool? Flea over did it the who started it. It is a tragic waste of a bass that could be played by someone somewhere....

Perhaps we have it all wrong. Perhaps he didn't do this on purpose, a la the Who, nor was it an accident caused by some "uber-cool make the girlies giggle" stage move. Perhaps the bass was run over by an overzealous roadie, or was dropped from a great height by someone with a vengeance against this young man. He stands there, defiantly showing the world that even against idiots that love to mess things up on their way to more important tasks, EBMM basses will still work, and can still rock the house. Even if it's entrails and brain matter was brutally ripped from it's body, it's heart still beats, and beats strong, and for that my friends, I can only tell Mr. Phoenix, "Thank you".

But, if he did it on purpose, he needs to be dragged in the street and shot. Seriously.

Ouch! That hurts. I can only hope that it was an accident and he loves that bass so much that he couldn't bear to retire it.

Just a bit of paint and its good as new. :D

Well. Some battlescars on an instrument are inevitable when it's played a lot, but that looks like abuse here.
