BP, Any friend of yours is/was a friend of mine. My thoughts and prayers go out to Pat and his family as well as to you and yours...It is in times like these that we all realize that life can be unfairly way too short. Naked from the womb we all came, naked from the earth we go. Live life to make a difference in someone else's. (kinda like you do BP!) Peace be with you, -Capt. Don

I will be the 1st to admit that CMC and myself had a love/hate Relationship at times but when I dealt with Pat he was always positive and tried to help me and did help put MM on the map down here

So my condolences go out to the team at CMC and to Pats family.

RIP

Pat, put a lot of things on the map down here. I believe Roland in Australia was also thanks to Pat. Let me say this, he was the good guy and I'm hurting terribly. I hope those close to him are doing OK. this is so sad...

I had the pleasure of spending some time with Pat a few times at NAMM. As well as his visit to our new location in the desert a few years ago. I was very impressed with how he carried himself, the epitome of a True Gentleman. He loved to talk about the history of this company and his experiences with Ernie and Sterling. He remarked about how impressed he was with Brian and Scott as this family business began expanding into the 3rd generation. He truly loved the Ball family, and this company and was very proud to be associated with it. He genuinely cared about the well-being of the company as well as me as a person. He was very interested in my personal life and wanted to know the details. He understood that good business is built on strong relationships and took the time to build those relationships. I'll always remember him for that.
Unfortunately, death is something I've had to deal with a lot in my family this last year. I was very sad to hear about Pat's death. But from each life lost I try to learn something from that person and from Pat it is to always be kind and treat people with respect. If we can all be half the man Pat was, we'll be doing pretty good. RIP!

Hi Sterling, I just read your post - thank you!, from Mum, myself and my sister. Yes, Dad was (is!) an incredible man. Thank you to everyone who posted responses on the forum - our family appreciates it very much.
