Paul Gilbert gig report! (now with better quality video)
Last week I played my first gig as a solo act ever!!! I've done a million of gigs so far with other bands, but this was the very first time ever that the name of the project was Ivan Mihaljevic.
And the very special thing about it is that I was performing as an opening act for Paul Gilbert here in Zagreb!
I've opened for him last year with my band Hard Time, but this time it was my solo stuff.
I played songs from my first solo album Sandcastle and the crowd loved it!
I sold a bunch of CDs at the gig and had a chance to talk with Paul a little bit again.
I've done a bunch of interviews and TV appearances before the gig here in Croatia too.
An interesting thing for this forum is the fact that my bass player and the other guitarist were playing Balls too!
