i finally received notice that he got the payment and that he will be switching the pickup to the dsonic. As soon as the check from the post office clears he will ship my new mystic dream jp7 this week hopefully tomorrow !!!!!!!!!

Did you replace the original with the D-Sonic? I would have asked for the original personally, and the D-Sonic included if I felt like it. Then again, that's just me. Main reason: harder to find the original pickups (and I like their sound better )

Beautiful guitar though. I'd do horrible things for one in that finish.

I figured the custom pickup would be too muddy for me because of the darker voicing, the dsonic also has more mids.....yes I should have asked for both pickups

I talked to the guy and it will be in tomorrow or the latest tuesday I cannot wait to have a jp let alone a 7 string......christmas didn't even have me this giddy lol

The good thing is... we have a seven string in the band again... now if I can just get a hold of another myself. LOL
