Matt, what are you getting? JOSH

Leaning towards a Bongo 4HH.... But that depends on the below.

Game Changer. I love both my Bongo 4's and I really dig the hog, but I gotta go GC. I've had bad GAS for the GC for a while now.

If they'll do a PDN Reflex with a GC, I'll join you. Early word from Pete on that is a no go though..... I'm going to do some begging and hopefully if the great and all powerful Dargie has mercy on us, we may end up with an absolutely amazing option! I think the GC is the only thing that could beat out the Bongo at this point, but heck if that's an option I may need to just go mortgage a body part and buy both!

I love these guys!!!!

I was told the Game Changer was not an option for this order otherwise it would have been my order of choice. Can someone from MM confirm if the Game Changer is available to be ordered?

PDN Bongo 4H is on order from Beaver and Basscentral. First bass ordered from them and it was a great experience. I am hooked on these single H's. I blame Jack. JOSH

Brothers (and sister Tiffles), looks like my hog bongo may have to wait. Got some bad news yesterday on the wife's health front which may dramatically change the cash flow situation. Too soon to be sure, hopefully know more next week when we get some test results. Maybe I'll be able to pick one up on the secondary market. Time will tell.

I'm considering a bongo 4H, it would be oh so nice to have 2 roasted necks in the stable. Or should I go 4HS?. Or skip the Bongo altogether and get a roasted Al. hmmmm decisions. I know BP, Jack, and others sing the praises of the single H. decisions, decisions.

I am gassing hard for a Single H Bongo as well (not that I can even find one to test up here...) BUT for me the painted neck is a huge plus - I prefer it to the standard neck finish, so the Mahog-Bongo just misses for me....

now if I ever came across that Mahog Bongo tricked out in the 30th anni get up (as pictured in BPs hands in that GAS inducing photo) I would HAVE To own it....

This year im going to buy a Gallien Krueger 1001RB head and a 4x10 Neo cab (maybe 2 if i can swing it) and after that Im setting my sights on a 6 string Bongo HS, I would prefer a BFR if they're still gettable, OR I might get a little weird and go for a 2007 limited edition 5 string bongo

Bongo sings through a 1001 RB and Neo 410. It's huge, that rig killed all gas I had for rigs.

I can't wait to see pictures of that beast, congrats!

I thought about changing my order for the Bongo I currently have on order to a PDN, but I decided I want a blue one... I would love to play a hog-bodied bongo someday though to compare it with a basswood.

I've been absent for a while. What is this thread all about? Special 2012 run of something?

As far as the perfect MM bass, after a long quiet search, I finally scored my heart's desire -- the elusive all rosewood neck BFR Bongo in true gold. A beauty.

Been a while project. Great find with the RW Bongo. You may need to check of the flyer for this special run, mostly cause I would love to see a Honeyburst Bongo with a RW neck. Hope all is well. Send me the first email about the RW Bongo if it is ever leaving. JOSH
