This seems like a cool axe, but I have no desire to have one.. What is wrong with me?

Dude, look, you know having a Mahogany anything Bass predisposes you to start calling your bass using it's Woody Origins.

For Example.

I'm getting a MahONGO, Some ordered the MahogRay, Big MahALgony, The MahogRe-Flex, or the MahogErling...

Etc...It's goofy and makes it hard to stand out like that...I understand...

Don't feel bad!

Hope all is well Erin

But I already have several mahogany basses, just none with translucent finishes..
Erin
I'm okay.. Today is a drag, but I've had a few days of pretty good days. I had this one coming.

Different strokes dude. You said it yourself...you prefer a "loud" finish over a classic one so Honeyburst is probably too sedate and boring looking for you. Plus, you prefer the Big Al which already has a Mahogany body. So, then what you have left is the roasted neck and the stainless frets. But, overall, I think this is just not your thing. Anyway...you have a rather large load of cool basses already so...I think you can afford to sit this one out.

Mind you, you are Bongo-less. Maybe a purple sparkle Bongo 4H will be in your future!! :)

Bongo 5Hp Fretless - Stu42

Big Al 4SSS - Holdsg
Bongo 4HH - bdgotoh
Bongo 4HHp - JayDawg

You can count on Basscentral to order one in every config for store stock. TPB and other smaller stores typically only order a few. We can ask Pete what he ordered. I don't think any of the others dealers post often.

I'd love to get in on this, I just don't know whether the finances are going to permit it... On a related note, anyone want to buy a small horse farm in East Tennessee, we'll make you a good deal!? Lol :) j/k, but not really.

These are going to be killer, and even if I can't get in on the pre-order, I'll try to snag one from dealer stock when they start shipping... Hopefully by then we'll be through the whole moving expenses, relocation, rent+mortgage thing.

Since today is the last day of orders, I will elt the cat out of the bag what I ordered. I actually already did in my other post. I order a Bongo 4 HHp PDN. I am definitely excited about this bass too. I think this will be my final Bongo though because eventually I want to own at least 1 of every model but that is going to take a while to obtain.
