Question PDN Axis owners about bigger frets

Have a question for owners of both PDN Axis and non-PDN Axis guitars.

How does the larger fretwire feel on your PDN Axis compared to the standard Axis frets?

I believe the larger fretwire is described as "high profile, wide" in the PDN specs as opposed to "high profile, medium width" on the regular Axis specs. I've always been under the impression that the Axis neck was designed to work best with medium frets, as it obviously does. Don't want to change the frets on my SS, but considering an Axis with the larger frets/maybe a PDN, and looking for experienced opinions

Nobody plays their PDN Axis guitars? I know they are beautiful to look at but at some point you gotta want to play them...

How is this obvious? I haven't picked up an axis in a long while, but what makes medium frets the obvious choice by design? Is this not utterly subjective, or is there something in the design (lack of bridge adjustability, etc) that is very specific to fret hight?
