Well, it wouldn't be a true musicians' forum without at least two people per thread who 'don't want sound rude, but . . .'.

I came here looking for advice on how to get the closest paint color; at no point did I say I was waiting for someone from the company to give me the answer. Since I am not about to bring a barbie doll to an autoshop to ask them to analyze and I don't have a spare peach bass to bring in to be matched, I was looking for other suggestions.

Good...so I see we're on the same page. Good luck with your plight.

Yeah .... and anywho .... what ABOUT the hair thing :)

I4-1 would be happy to know that some version of peach
is now on the ax-in-question. Benefits would be various:

1. Kaybass has a final result, for betterer or worserer ....
[no personal prejudicial preference here].

2. We get to see pix of the outcome and then argue about
color calibration schemes for PC display panels.

3. A perficklee good bass will someday enter the used gear
market at a somewhat more affordable price [modded ax],
yet with a unique finish. Get more, pay less .... courtesy of
The Originalness Natzeez [not unique to MM territory].

4. If Kaybass joins yet another tribute band, and paints it
one more time, then I think I may wanna buy it when he's
done with it, cuz it's got 3 different color layers and I can
have a sandpapering party with my peeps, and then clear
gloss the multicolored result .... whooooaa did I say that ?

Didn't OLP put out an EBMM licensed version of his SR5 bass in the Peach color about 10 years back? Wonder how close it was to the real thing...
