I am a Rabid Pedal guy hahaha ...Chain is subject to your ear but there was a lot of good advice ...Pedals are an addiction in themselves because they can transform a great amp into whatever....I play in a cover band so i have a lot of dirt...that means Low gain Overdrive ,High Gain Overdrive, Fuzz ,Distortion , Amps in a box type pedals ....and of course a delay or 2 (1 for slapback/cleans and another for dirt signals) and a chorus I also have a EQ/Buffer pedal at the end of my chain to "tweak " my tone...Also my 61 Fender Bandmaster has no Reverb so i have a Spring Chicken Reverb Pedal as well ...and My Diamond Compressor takes care of the squishy stuff ....Now i know i dont need all these pedals but it sure is great to have em .....its all wired up with LAVA cable and a DC brick and a godlyke power it up....Also some are setup for the LUKE/AXIS SS which are Humbuckers ....and some are setup for the AL's ....and i can run this true stereo thanx to my "Diamond ST-Mix" ....and yes i take the Super and the Deluxe to the Gigs ...I love taking the gear hahaha and i dont mind lugging it and im 40 years old ...its what keeps me young!

Thanks for the replies and advice and links, like I said only wanting a small one with effects I like 6 or 7 total and BTW no effects loop on my amp so this is going to be straight forward.
Right now it is a tonebone classic distortion pedal, a hand wired MXR Phase 90,a MXR Black Label Chourus and EB WAH.
From the replies looks like I will add a delay pedal of some sort and something else, but not a tuner, no need on the board for me, plus I have a very good Korg tuner, hopefully by the time my Luke arrives this will be done as well![]()
sorry if im changing the subject here, just wondering does anybody rate multi effects over stomp boxes ? have just sold off my stomp boxes and am looking at either a line 6 M13 or the nova system. the line 6 gets great reviews and is supposed to be very easy to use.
Fing get yourself a vibe pedal - get the Danelectro one - I paid 28 quid for it, rather than 250 quid for a univibe. I also recommend a compressor - one that doesn't squash everything up - the one I have on my board cost 60 quid and is very transparant.
I wish I had a delay, and may get rid of my overdrive to accommodate one and replace it with a separate Blackstar dual.
Build your own board like I did (see here) - it was fun !!!

Also going to add the delay, just not sure which one there are many choices and price range is tremendous from cheap to more than my amp head cost![]()
