OK, it's kind of anal, but I actually keep a pretty good photo record of my gigging rig, to chronicle it's changing face over time.

My pedalboard changes a lot depending on the gig, the guitar I'm using, and my mood. For a blues gig I might just use a boost pedal, but the pic is pretty typical for a cover band gig, where I want to cover a lot of sonic territory. Lately the BB Preamp or my Zendrive have been the constants. I have a Klon Centaur too, that sees a lot of use.

That's a Fulltone Clyde, right? How do you like it?

Hey Tristan! My local music store has a shelf that looks identical to your pedalboard! :p

Question though: Can't you pretty much do everything with the VooDoo Valve that all of the pedals do? I always liked that processor.

it's not really an endorsement, I'm just a demonstrator for them...my favorite rocktron rig is really the voodu valve preamp.

Colin,

The box is just a junction box... Guitar in...thru pedals...out to amp.
The pedal is just an old volume pedal I modified to use as an expression pedal for the Korg AX30G.

Thanks,
Patrick

Hey man, how is that Wylde overdrive? Is it pretty good? I'm wondering about that.

I have one and as usual whether you like it depends what you are after.

If you are expecting to turn a clean sound into Zakk's high gain pick squeelling monster tone then this wont do it - if you want to take a good dirty amp sound and push it into "squeel" then this pedal certainly does the job - it is far more of a traditional front end overdrive.

I have 4 drive pedals that I interchange depending on what I'm after

Klon Centaur
Keeley Baked TS9
Bixonic Expandora
MXR Zakk Wylde

and a Keeley Katana for clean boostage.

Got to say cost wise the ZW gives the best bang-per-buck.

Dave

P.S. Though if money is no object then the Klon is sublime.

I used to use the ZW, but I found it a bit thin sounding. I now use a £39 Boss super overdrive and its much the same idea, but a little fatter sounding. Run it into my Line 6 on the JCM800 setting.

Midopa, I love this one for its sheer simplicity! :)

My pedalboard is getting less populated these days. I find the only things I really use are:

EB Volume Pedal
Peterson Strobostomp tuner
Boss Chorus Ensemble
Boss DD-6 Delay
Boss RV-5 Reverb
Voodoo Labs Pedal Power2 to power everything

and the pieces to utilize the piezo:
EB 6190 Splitter box
Whirlwind DI box

..and I have a space reserved for an EB Wah!

Fairly simple set up, but I'm a fairly simple guy.
Actually just made the board last week from some leftover 3/4 ply scraps and velcro
